Why is it that

The last three Democratic presidents won by margins that would be considered big in today's political climate. However, the media, Republicans, and much of the public expected them to govern from the political center and embrace bipartisanship. Each of these presidents made efforts to do so but were still met with hostility and vitriol from Republicans, often with the media playing along. On the other hand, the last two Republican presidents won by razor-thin margins and lost the popular vote, yet both governed from the far right as though they had broad mandates.

Seems to be led and fueled by people with no use for integrity. I don’t understand going through life that way. And I’m glad I don’t.

it occurs to me quite often how different the world would be if non one thought they were inherently BETTER than others

if you're stupid enough to think your color, gender, sexual orientation, religion, nationality etc makes you a better person, it actually is the exact opposite to all decent people

The process has been underway for over 50 years already, subjecting the population to "trickle down economics" and impeding social mobility of minorities. The backlash to the progress of the '60s and early '70s has been intense and relentless.

Not sure exactly how this came to be, but the media is definitely complicit.
