6. I've recommended these books before, but I'll do it again.

The True Believer (Eric Hoffer) and Escape From Freedom (Erich Fromm) are probably the two most important written works that anyone could read right now that speak to the human condition in 2024. Which is quite amazing in a way, since both were written in the mid-20th century (1951 and 1941, respectively).

I don't know how popular or well-known some of the people in this clip actually are, but I do recognize a couple of them. The execrable Nick Fuentes has been discussed to death around here, so I won't. I also recognize Michael Voris, founder of the infamous "Church Militant", an organization for Catholic ultramontanist radtrads. The only good thing I can say about Michael Voris is that last time I checked, he had completely destroyed his little "think" tank by continuing to be what he is--gay--in a Church culture that hates what he is and will not tolerate it, particularly in those with leadership roles. It didn't help Voris that he chose to live his gayness "on the down-low", as the kids say. (Church Militant also paid a crippling and punitive fine in an ill-advised lawsuit that they lost, which further hastened their demise).

If any of the people in that clip rise to high positions of political leadership, this country will have a serious problem.
