Idiotic AI-generated images of never-pet-owner Trump as a savior of pets are perfect examples of the harm AI images do
Any nitwit with access to an AI image generator can now have it churn out images of Trump the savior of animals, even though there are few real photos, AFAIK, of Trump with any pet even for a photo op, let alone caring about any animals.
But AI images have been trained on lots of stolen photos of Trump, and lots of stolen photos of pets, so we get "photorealistic" garbage like this
to flood social media, along with countless racist images of Trump running from people intended to be Haitians as he carries pets to safety, or armed with a gun or sword to defend the poor animals from a dangerous mob.
Images can often be more effective than words, and genAI made the creation of malicious propaganda almost infinitely easier than it used to be.
And those images quickly flood search engines like Google's, showing up at or near the top:

IMHO. 
But these images are, to me at least, so obviously fake that I find it hard to believe anyone with functioning braincells wouldn't be able to ID them as fake, as well.

...and the amount of discussion from *other DUers* debating whether the image was AI or not distressed me. Not meaning to call out any other DUers - we're all friends here, IMO - but I was dumbfounded by the amount of back-and-forth about it being AI or not. 
The intent of my OP was to show how unserious the House Judiciary GOP was for posting that on their official "X" account*.
(*When it's a MAGA post, I refer to the hellsite as "X" - when the tweet comes from a non-MAGA source, I refer to it as "Twitter" - small distinction but "Twitter" still has useful liberal, government and news content despite Elmo's stewardship of it - until that is no longer the case, I'll continue to mine it for useful content for inclusion on DU).
