The real story about American handling of a crisis

Covid is not just an excuse for Trump's dismal unemployment numbers during his administration, they're the reason for the high inflation rate during Biden's. You can't have it both ways.

Just as the worldwide lock downs during the pandemic caused massive unemployment in every country, the aftermath of the pandemic caused the huge spike in inflation across the globe. Pent up demand, supply chain disruption and inventory shortages (due to the fact that manufacturers and suppliers had no idea when the economies would open up). If inflation was confined to just America, then maybe you could blame the government, but it was worldwide.

Once the pandemic was manageable, each country worked to get back to normal. The Biden-Harris administration did the best in the world. While all the "experts" were predicting that we could not end inflation without a recission, the Democrats did it. Following the pandemic, the Biden-Harris administration had the best recovery of all the advanced economies. The unemployment rates were the best in the world. The GDP was one of the best in the world and our inflation rate was among the lowest. Our overall economy was the envy of every other industrialized country on the planet.

On the other hand, during the pandemic under Trump, the United States had 23% of the world's covid deaths, yet we are only 4.5% of the world's population. Trump's covid news conferences (have we tried injecting disinfectant into the human body?). Have we forgotten that those "pressers" looked like an SNL skit.

Look, the pandemic was a worldwide catastrophe and an economic nightmare in its aftermath. But, judging by the standards of the rest of the world, the Bidne-Harris administration performed the best during the crisis and the Trump administration (especially Trump himself) performed the worst.
