Don't trust the Post Office with your ballot....................

A business sent me a 11x8 envelope 3 weeks ago. They are 97 miles away, Still not here. Use Fedex or UPS if you have to mail a ballot.

Safe, easy, secure.

A few election cycles ago, there were fears that right-wingers in blue districts would station themselves at the drop-boxes, posing as election officials, and say to those driving up "I'll take care of those ballots for you", and then destroy them after the voters drove off.

I never experienced anything like that. But anyone trying to prevent me from voting for Harris/Walz and every Democrat down-ballot had better be square with their god first.

From the NYTimes during the 2020 election season:

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/10/26/us/politics/mail-in-ballots-election.html?unlocked_article_code=1.KE4.MuRK.YCGV0ElwMWaL&smid=url-share

“But experts say voters should use either a secure ballot drop box or the United States Postal Service instead to avoid the risk of running afoul of rules for voting by mail, which vary by state.

“If you have a mail ballot but you haven’t mailed it back yet, vote it today and return it in person if you can,” said David Becker, the founder and executive director of the Center for Election Innovation & Research, a nonprofit, nonpartisan group that seeks to increase voter participation and improve the efficiency of elections.”

I would be very careful to find out the rules for your location, especially with the GOP using every possible means to restrict voting

"Regardless, FedEx and UPS would cost far more per ballot. More importantly, it’s unclear whether ballots delivered by an outside carrier would be accepted by all the county election officials in charge of counting votes."

It's a damn shame because mail was really convenient back in 2020. Oh well.

Edited: Absolutely no to fedex and ups as well.

I tried hand delivering to the city clerk's office last time, but the wouldn't accept it from me. They would only accept in-person deliveries from the actual voter. (Wisconsin here).

I still vote early by mail but always drop it off at an official election location.
