So, we are now talking about eating pets

What happened to how well Vice President Kamala Harris totally exposed Trump for what he is( no explanation needed).
Where is the talk of the momentum from the debate that is buoying Kamala( notice the lack of polling data😗?)…
Now we’re debating whether or not Haitians are eating animals in Springfield, Ohio??
What’s the point anymore?

and of understanding why the pet-eating rumor captured attention. It's significant because it illustrates how completely insane and stupid and vicious Trump and Vance are. Everybody knows Haitians are not eating pets in Springfield, but Trump and Vance are using the rumor to inflame prejudice and hate even though they know it's not true. (Actually, Trump might believe it because he often decides to believe crazy things that he thinks might be useful to him.) The issue isn't whether anybody is eating pets in Springfield. It's the extent to which a hateful, racist rumor can be used against a population - the same thing used to be said about Asian immigrants.

it will take a few days for more post debate polls to start showing up, and what impact
it had.

The pet memes are getting over-used though I agree. I admit I think the ones with the pets showing shocked expressions are funny, but not the ones showing cats in food delivery bags, or kittens between hot dog rolls. It's also not fair to the Hatian communities.

The only good side is Trump got mocked as completely batshit crazy for saying it in the bank, but it maybe time to move on to some other ridiculous thing he's said. He sure provides enough material to mock him about.

But this is pretty out of hand. I think I've put 40 or 50 posts on this in the trash. A bit out of control, I'd say.
