Now that JD Vance has admitted lying about Haitians in Springfield, it's important not to even concede the point about the media to him. JD is not upset that the press *failed* to cover the Haitian influx into Springfield before MAGA lies attracted media attention. He's upset that the media *told the truth* about it.

Again, the media *has* covered the Haitian influx into Springfield diligently, even before MAGA started lying about them. What JD really objects to is that fact-based reporting showed a nuanced picture that tells a largely positive story about their impact
