So it is almost 3 am and i am reading a book that talks about the sword of Damocles

Which takes me to Dionysius 1 of Syracuse and how he had an army of mercenaries as bodyguards that he got when he faked an attack on his life and became known as a tyrant who lived between 400 and 300 bc. He ended up getting killed through an overdose ordered by his son. Sound like anyone we know who happens to have 3 sons.

I know their are others out there who, like me, don't always sleep well. I often read your posts and decided to share this one in hopes it amuses you also. Now back to my book.

request from my library. I am reading, "My Mama, Cass", by Owen Elliott-Kugell. Nothing as lofty as yours, but a very interesting look at a most interesting woman.
