Nasrallah says Hezbollah leadership was largely spared in Tuesday's attack as they were using older pagers
Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah says the groups leadership was mostly spared during Tuesdays attack targeting pagers that killed several members in Lebanon as they were using older devices while new ones were sent elsewhere.
In any case, the goal was to kill as many leaders and officials as possible, to strike at Hezbollahs structure, and to damage its command and control system, he added. This was meant to spread chaos, confusion, weakness, and disarray within Hezbollah and the resistance. However, this did not happen for even a single moment.
From the first moment, the leadership and the administration was active and the front was fully prepared. We were prepared for an offensive from the Israelis at the front, Nasrallah added.
At least 12 people were killed and around 2,800 injured in Tuesdays attack, according to the Lebanese health ministry.

than any in Hezbollah will admit. They will bluster that this has not affected them, but I will bet many are flinching when they hear a cell phone ring.

I suspect that is not too different than what actually happened when the attack was reported to Nasrallah
