70 years ago, an aspiring despot was stopped cold. Who will stop the orange dicktater?

In 1954, special counsel for the U.S. Army Joseph Welch took down Joe McCarthy.

Who is going to be the Joseph Welch to tell the orange shitler to STFU, because EVERYTHING HE ACCUSES OTHERS OF IS A CONFESSION.

Tone down the rhetoric? He started a fire and poured gasoline on it.

I DOUBLE-DOG DARE ANYONE IN THE GUTLESS MEDIA TO CALL OUT THE CRUEL AND RECKLESS FELON FOR WHAT HE IS.

And during these hearings, McCarthy met his match in Joseph Welch, a calm but assertive special counsel representing the Army. On June 9, 1954, Welch calmly gutted every one of McCarthy’s accusations, frustrating the senator to no end.

McCarthy called one highly respected and decorated general a “disgrace” to the uniform; and then accused one of Welch’s associates of belonging to a group that was the “legal arm of the Communist Party.”

Welch reached his breaking point and uttered the words that in essence ended McCarthy’s reign of terror.
Lawyer Welch utters the words that humiliate McCarthy, leading to his demise.“Have you no decency, sir!”

“Until this moment, Senator, I think I never really gauged your cruelty or your recklessness,” Welch said. “Have you no sense of decency, sir?”

Give me some Joseph Welch and Edward R. Murrow!

Smack him down and lock him up.

People sometimes ask "Who are your heroes or inspirations?"
I asked my daughter the same question.
Many people have no answer (many rational people, excluding nazi sympathizers. )

I might answer Thoreau, Mark Twain, any of the brave souls from the Civil Rights movement

More, I am sure.

How about some Joe Biden, for beating the orange scumbag, overturning discredited economics with his revolutionary BIDENOMICS, and while feeling that he could beat Trump a second time, unleashed a new, dynamic force in his protege, Kamala Harris, who can destroy the malignant GOP?

And today, I am giving props to Welch and Murrow for standing up, when others remained silent.

like maybe his left pinkie fingernail, but it was there.

TFG has the worst form of the worst personality disorder. He has no decency anywhere and doesn't care who knows it. He has mocked and bullied disabled people, Gold Star parents, every woman he's ever come into contact with, dead soldiers, you name it, he has disparaged too many people that McCarthy would never have tried to bully.

TFG would have laughed at Welch, mocked his age, and tried to get his pension canceled. TFG is worse scum than McCarthy.

We have to defeat him for the third time. We have to make sure he is stopped. He will never stop himself. I still think the mink and gilt lined prison of his choice will do, his penthouse would provide excellent security and his fan club would know he's be living large instead of being in the Federal Pen. We'd know even a mink annd gilt prison is still a prison if you can't leave and visiting days are once a week with guards standing by.
