I wish you better luck than I had. Mine lasted less that 24 hours! I’ve ordered a long Harris banner to wrap my pine tree in. It will be high enough that it can’t be stolen. In the past I have had a sign lit on fire and one found with bullet holes during the Obama campaign. I drive the countryside and see TSF’s signs still standing. Locally someone is changing the S in Harris to a Y and changing the W in Walz to a B. Harry Balz…..these people are beyond words!

A few ideas:

If you think they're doing this is the dark, get a movement sensitive light, like for gardeners who are trying to keep groundhogs or deer away. They are inexpensive and will light up as soon as they detect movement.

Don't spend a penny and draw a big picture of an eye and put it close to your sign. This was done in a coffee room where workers were skipping out of throwing in their change for the coffee. As soon as the "eye" appeared on the cabinet, the lack of donations ceased.

I thought I would put the banner around the tree and since we are cat sitting our four grand cats I thought I would put used cat litter around the tree so they would get a shoe full if they try to cut it down. 🤣😁 Thanks for the idea. We’ll see what we can do! We live way off the road but I may be able to run electric from my neighbors who live closer to the road.

Here in Eastern NC, we are still waiting to get our, Harris and Walz signs. They've been ordered since, about, when she chose Tim Walz, as her VP pick. Interestingly, I replied to the post and then checked my email and there was one, from the Office Manager, at Dem HQ, writing to say that Harris and Walz, signs had come in this afternoon. I'm going to pick up a couple, one for the yard where I live and the other for my neighbor, who has requested one, also.

Amazing how things come together. Good suggestion, to check Democratic HQ. That is about the only place that we can get them.

11. I've had signs stolen

I now plant them closer to the house so they aren't a quick snatch and run from curbside. Haven't lost one since. It probably depends on how determined they are.

Walked my whole suburb and there are only two signs up - mine and a little tiny Trump 2024 sign. It looks embarrassed because it is so small. Mine is on the way in so everyone probably sees it. The other is back in a corner where far fewer would see it (if they squint, LOL). In previous elections, there were many Repuke signs around here. That pathetic little sign isn't the only thing embarrassed, I think.
