Someone is stealing Harris signs in my area.

Live in the suburbs of Pittsburgh for many decades and this is the first time I've heard that someone been stealing political signs from other ppl lawns in this neighborhood. In my area, it is usually 50-50 or 60-40 D to R in political signs. This year, it is around 80 - 20 Harris to Trump signs. Republicans are running scared and can't accept ppl with other political views.

Pennsylvania is going go for Harris if lawn signs are any indication. People are fired up here. Even met a Harris canvasser this weekend in high 80 heat. I rarely see any canvasser this early.

*Update* I should mentioned that I don't have a Harris sign up in front of my lawn. I live on a dead end street (20 houses) and we have a yearly block party. During one of these parties, we all did an informal agreement not to put any political signs in front to keep things neighborly. It worked out well all these years. All the signs stolen were from houses in my neighborhood. I noticed it today on my daily walk and asked around.

It doesn't. It only give the person who lost their lawn to donate more to Harris campaign. clutterbox1830 Sep 2024 #8

Only a MAGA would do something that immature-- I can't imagine that type of mindset. If my next door neighbor had a cheato sign up, it wouldn't even occur to me to go anywhere near it! But then, that's their mentality

Back in the early 70s me and a couple buddies drove around town one evening picking up all the political signs we could get into my friend’s gigantic trunk. It was after the polls closed during a primary election. We dumped all the signs on the High School Assistant Principals parking space. We never got caught. I think. That was the extent of our crime wave. At the time we were too young to vote.

Not cool to steal signs from anyone’s property.

Do they think it changes anything?

Anyway, I am seeing heaps of Harris signs in get this......Knoxville, TN.

The only Trump signs are from a super nut a few blocks over. They have a canopy setup with Trump shirts, posters, flags, etc in their driveway. They have that crap up all year long, though.

They also have a "Support the Blue" flag at the top of a pole. That's funny shit coming from someone that supports Trump.

My guess that are trying to convince others that everyone in this area is supporting Trump, but that is just silly, however, those ppl are not right in the head.

on the back of the sign panels, which will surprise and deter thieves and vandals. Some people include glitter in the mix since it’s hard to get off."

There are some good ideas on sign stealing from an earlier thread.

Commute from rural NJ to Bucks County PA a few days a week. I's seeing Harris/Walz signs go up more and more.
