1. It slays me that with her background (both parents were local news reporters and helicopter correspondents)

that she has turned out the way she has. She's attractive (admittedly, even though all I see his her self-entitled ugly sneer lately), well educated, has had every opportunity and is seemingly happily married to a CBS reporter/anchor who seems like a decent guy himself.

So, why is she just so awful?

She really is as awful as she seems. It's obvious that she doesn't have any friends at work other than the already identified right wingers like andrea mitchell and chris jansing and that chuck guy. The rest of the personalities seem to actually appreciate and respect each other in a positive manner. I don't get that vibe from any of those named above.

I'd thought of her chill faced appearance as a kind of calculating performance of reporting, and Olbermann helps me see why. So thanks for that. I haven't been a fan of Olbermann's for years, but I guess I'll be listening more to him.

She seems very shallow. I've always thought she was someone who should be on Entertainnent Tonight or Inside Edition - tabloidy, pop culture stuff. She doesn't vibe as someone who's serious at all.
