18 Senate Republicans Voted Against Funding The Government

Name and Shame. PS. The horrible SAVE Act, which would have made it extremely difficult to vote, was not included in the CR.

By Susie Madrak — September 26, 2024
The Senate passed a three-month government funding bill yesterday, sending it to President Biden's desk for signing. The final vote in the chamber was 78-18 in favor of passing the bill.

All 18 "Nay" votes were from guess-which-party.

And they take paychecks from taxpayers to undermine the full faith and credit of my / our treasury department / government.............. .................

Then went to this site: https://postimages.org/] and used that to upload the image. The site offers several different links to post images onto different types of sites. For DU, I use the link offered for us on forums.

Cruz voted Aye. Tactical vote for election? Tim Scott a No. With SC about to get walloped, you would think as funded government would be a good thing? Same with the two idiots from Alabama.

IOW, he doesn't show up for his job. My guess is he is such a chicken that he won't vote on legislation or anything else because however he votes, one group or the other will be mad at him.

It seems likely he only ran for the senate because Thiel wanted him to build some name recognition among Americans who don't read books before he bought Vance a place on the GOP ticket.

Who are now asking for help. The hypocrisy burns. I am glad they have the sense to ask for the help, but what if there was none to ask for? Do they ever think about that?
