Suspiciously absent

I subscribe to The Guardian and check Google's News feed to see what they are covering. For the last several days, both have led with news OTHER THAN the US elections. That news has been pushed down to the 5th or 6th article.

Since Rump is clickbait and trashing Harris is entertainment, I'm surprised by this. I don't watch TV news, so they might still be stirring the pot.

Has anyone else noticed something like this?

I realize that; however, they had been covering the US elections insanity within the 1st or 2nd article. Now, Hamas and Ukraine are typically the top articles. Maybe it just a feint. I was hoping it was a reflection of social exhaustion from the Rump Circus.
