Mark Robinson, Republican candidate for governor in North Carolina, hospitalized after "incident" at campaign event. Below is literally all I can find at the moment. No coverage on MSNBC yet.

37. I read that Republicans could nominate someone else, BUT that doesn't guarantee the other person will be on ballot

depending on date ballots are printed. If that happens, it would be announced that a vote for Robinson would count toward the poor guy who gets chosen. That’s got to be a loser situation.
