Iran's attacking Israel is our October surprise

There is the obvious, horrible threat to Israel and certain deaths that will result from these missile attacks, as though that weren't bad enough in its own right. But now the US will become embroiled in this war. If it does, Trump can win the election if he adopts an anti-war position. I fear we are truly fucked.

I hate to sound pessimistic, and I know people hate threads like these, but this really scares me.

People know that. The people not happy with BIden's support of Israel now have pause to see how Iran is attacking Israel and that yeah, maybe Israel does have justification for some of their actions.

Trump isn't anti-war, he's a Netanyahu clone who would see Bibi completely level Gaza and Iran for that matter.

People know Trump is a liar. Israel and their wars aren't going to sway voters anymore. There's a small group of Gaza supporters who might vote 3rd party, but here in Michigan, that group is exceediongly tiny and the leaders of the Pro Palestinian groups here have basically said, vote your conscience and the lesser of two evils is OK.

They aren't crazy, they may not be happy with Biden's no strings support of Bibi, but they know Muslim Ban Trump is no legit option lest they want to be put in concentration camps.

Nerves have been frazzled by the tension of having a genuine, fascist Nazi running for President of the United States for three terms now. So everything is intensified. He's a real threat, because we have more or less lost our free press in favor of corporate profits and profiteering, so the news we get is aimed at improving their ratings, not informing people of what's happening. If the current media had the kind of quality and professionalism that journalists had in the 60's and 70's, we'd be seeing Trump in the much more realistic light of the threat that he is, and we wouldn't likely even have to worry about it because the GOP would never have nominated someone who could get that much bad press.

I think we need to calm down, take it all in, take a good look at what this election is about, and the approach being taken, and quit jumping at every bump in the road. We're going to know that Harris has been elected President sometime around 10:30 p.m. Eastern time, when California, Oregon and Washington are called for her.

I'm not sure who's launched the terror attack (Hezb or Hamas), but this may be Iran's response to the killing of Nasrallah.

war w/ the likes of Iran. I've heard often times about this so-called Oct. Surprise, and in my opinion, nothing will happen. No Oct. surprise will happen.

And you seem to think that war breaks out far too easily w/ the America public, but personally, I think that the American spirit will survive just fine w/o another war or conflict on our menu. Hard to believe, but I think America is actually weary of war, and/or will do anything to avoid getting into any conflicts.

Why not? Haven't we fought in enough wars as it is?
