In his small town until he was a senior he wasn’t allowed to attend Midnight Mass despite being Catholic, because the church welcomed the adults from other religions to attend Christmas Midnight Mass. when one church burned down the other churches let them use their churches for services until they could rebuild. What is not being discussed is the role that destruction related to natural disasters play on the supply chains. Loot at Helena and all the massive destruction of areas that will need to be rebuilt. That puts a lot of pressure on the supply chain to be able to rebuild all of those locations. Then if you are trying to build new residential or commercial building you are competing against all the destroyed areas. Before I retired I was a Procurement Officer and I handled bidding out facility projects (new construction and renovations. I witnessed the changes in both pricing and the time that it takes to get supplies.
