Vance lied most. In the simple math you supposedly performed, how did you handle "somewhat true," "mostly false," Silent Type Oct 2024 #11

Pretty good listing. Vance lied much more, but they got Walz on a few too. One reason I'm not as hot on fact-checking Silent Type Oct 2024 #2

In other words, almost 90% of Vance's responses were lies? This really needs to be spread far and wide.

the graphics are reflective of the fact checks at the link. All it takes is the ability to count and do simple math.

Sorta true, sorta false, etc.?

There is no argument that Vance lied numerous times, more than the 10 or so issues discussed in the article applicable to him.

But, that graphic is not there.

And those who are unable to do simple math, can use the calculator app on their phones.

immediately as some. Plus, it's one thing to have researchers looking things up over several hours, but a different matter to research within one minute.

70% truth vs 30% "lies" for Walz. And your response is Vance lied more but they got Walz on a few too? Talk about false equivalence. Not only did Vance lie more, almost everything he said was a lie. Walz was overwhelmingly truthful. There is not any remote equivalence between the 2. It shows one man is honest and the other is a pathological liar. Period.

They rated every single statement of vance as either mostly false or false except one - the one on inflation which they rated as half true which I explained in another post that in their analysis, they effectively prove Vance's entire statement as false.

Meanwhile, they rate only one of Walz's statements as false with 5 being rated a true or mostly true. (2 were not rated)

That looks like the very definition of an honest man vs a pathological liar.

3. Oh, and to be clear, Politifact is being overly generous to vance

Example:

Vance: "What (Harris has) actually done instead is drive the cost of food higher by 25%, drive the cost of housing higher by about 60%."

Half True.

Grocery prices have risen by 22% since Biden and Harris took office. Housing prices, according to the Case-Shiller home price index, have risen 38%.Economists have told PolitiFact that the main factors driving the peak inflation in 2022 were postpandemic supply chain backups and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

So Vance exaggerates the increases in both food and housing and blames it all on Harris. Then Politicact explains the primary cause of inflation was due to factors that can't be blamed on the Biden administration. And this is somehow, half true? Politifacts own explanation says it was all a lie yet they still rate it half true?
