Are new filings the coffin nail in Trump's campaign?

In a "normal" world, Jack Smith's filings that the judge released yesterday would bury the hopes of any presidential candidate. But Trump doesn't live in a "normal" world.

Last night, I switched to Fox "news" for a few seconds and heard them talking about "fake news." And of course, Fox watchers will buy it. I'm virtually certain that no hard-core MAGA will walk away from their "Dear Leader."

He may lose a few hundred votes here and there, but I doubt that it will make any difference. This race will remain too close to call.

Perhaps I'm wrong, and this new information will rid us of him once and for all. One can only hope. But, what impact do you think Jack Smith's filings will have? Do you think it will change the minds of many?

The people who would be turned away by Jan 6th already have been, I suspect.

There were no bombshells in this report IMO, all things we already knew or things we expected. The only bombshell is the timing 1 month from the election.

Even when he loses, he doesn't go away. He's the ex who stalks you on social media and still "runs into" you at weddings.

I'm just waiting for him to eat that last Big Mac

4. We conquer MAGA by increasing demoralization that plants the seeds of doubt

Their subconscious, as narcissistic as their cult leader, is dinged. They wonder. They lose sleep. Their energy drops a little. Food doesn't taste the same. Soon fewer of them will vote.

Radical demoralization will follow. At some point. The effect in November's election? Here or there, several hundred to a couple thousand votes. We'll take every advantage we can get

This is about the 2,000th "last straw". If they hadn't bailed on him before now, this isn't going to convince them to do so.

There simply doesn’t seem to be a tipping point through all of the revelations or his openly operating a shadow government in the US. The coup continued.

“Grab ‘em by the pussy” would end it but here we are.

I am just hoping this makes a difference in 2% of the Trump voters.

While the indictment has a few new details, most information is familiar to those paying attention. So the editors and journalists dedicated to ‘horse race journalism’ wont stay interested long. The next shiney object will distract them.

All of this coming our now, a month before the election, is a reminder that Trump is the head of a criminal enterprise. Maybe, just maybe, it will swing enough votes to make a difference.

Trump has lost a lot of his former supporters. When he was the only candidate running for the nomination, after everyone else dropped out, 21% of Republican voters showed up to vote for someone else. Where's that being factored into the polls? It's not, they ignored it.

This sort of thing will run along the margins with those voters who are still undecided. His maga base is also likely being affected, but there are those determined to try and keep that under cover.

He's losing , by every indication that exists, including his own shrillness and panic which manifests itself in late night tweets, incoherent, rushed babble and the conspiracy theories getting more and more outlandish as we go.

What kind of panic would be manifesting itself among Democrats if over 400 former Republican administration officials and elected politicians had publicly announced support for the Republican candidate? Or if our candidate had to borrow money to pay campaign costs, while the opponent has raised enough to cover advertising and ground game in all 50 states?

The tension and pressure of all of this is what we are feeling because we know what is at stake, and what some Americans are willing to do that is unethical, wrong, and illegal, to get their own way.
