CNN Reporter was grilling NC Attorney General/Democratic Gubernatorial Candidate last night about disaster recovery

Practically blaming him or questioning him about how long recovery is going to take. NC Attorney General kept telling reporter that they're still in search and recovery mode and they're working as quickly as they can to help people. Reporter pulled out quotes from people questioning how soon things will be better. It was really annoying.

They only ever attack Democratic Party Politicians and/or Candidates. I've lived and voted just long enough to see it happen every single time.

The media should be howling like the banshees they are about 45's age, mental state, health, and cognitive ability - but they aren't.

They should be howling about the fucker getting away with Jan 6 - but they aren't. They present it as business as usual.

They make problems where none exists just to attack Dems.

I wrote what I wrote.

750 is emergency assistance from fema for vital needs right now. For storm victims.

Anything that went to immigrants previously had nothing to do with this.
This is a right now we need to keep you from starving and in shelter.
There will be plenty more govt assistance for those who have been damaged.

Stupid fucking greedy ignorant cheap assholery is what it is.

I have my moments too. The poo-flinging never ends and there are genuinely bad actors with the capacity to do significant damage like Bibi and Putin who will be stressing us out until this is over. Otoh, trying to be objective, I’d rather be playing our political hand than theirs.

Along with people demanding that the US stop sending $$ to other countries and instead direct those funds only to American citizens and the recovery effort.

Cooper was just on CNN the other day, and he went through what was being done and how the state was responding. There are no questions about it. Everything that can be done is being down. We can't even get to most places because the roads are out.

My brother was called in early to get to Tennessee by his company because they had a load that needed to be delivered ASAP. He's having to drive well out of the way to get around the affected areas, especially as he doesn't want to get in anyone's way. He says even where he's going it's worse than people think.

This is something that's going to be hard to fix. No one is just going to drive up and magically have all the problems solved. Some of the towns and areas in NC may never be viable again. That hurts.

I'm amazed every day because these storms typically come straight up the coast, and this one should have gone right over top of me. I likely wouldn't be here today, if we'd gotten this storm. I weep for the people in Western NC and the other affected states, because they've just seen their lives ruined. I'm grateful that Roy Cooper is still in charge here, and Joe Biden in the White House. If we'd had Trump or someone like him, it would be so much worse.

just how bad it would be if Trump were in the WH. But apparently Democrats are supposed to wave a magic wand and have everything magically fixed in five seconds. Yeah, and why are they going after the not-yet-Governor Stein?
