...I am going to Springfield to stand up for the Haitians. They will not be deported unopposed by me. I am an old white man who will go there unarmed and with peaceful, but firm intent. No Haitian will be deported without going over, through, or around me.

I hope thousands join me. Let's stop this before it begins.

trump is pandering to racist/bigots who'd love good people herded and jammed into rail cars. It's probably what I detest most about trump.

I live in an area where 70+% voted for trump in 2020. Lots of rube bigots here who blame everything on immigrants with no facts to prove it.

My local Nextdoor community group -- established mostly for lost dogs, cats, people, etc. -- is filled with hatred toward people who came here for a better life. When I see those posts, I usually get kicked off because I reply that the people I know are infinitely better than the rubes who hate them.

While I don't think trump can do what he says, can't stand his threats to uproot families, many who have been here for decades.
