Foreign attacks on one's country are always awful, but there is a logic to it, however horrible. I don't expect everyone else in the world to love my country and I know that some people see violence as an answer to grievances.

But I will never find an ounce of understanding or even admit to a semblance of logic behind the actions of the J6 Insurrectionists. They had their hearings in court. They knew that there would be other elections in coming years just as Democrats knew they would have to look to the future when Gore lost and later Clinton.

It was NOT a minor news item. People died. The 200+ year history of peaceful transfer of power - a core principle of our democracy - was violated by the effing president, FGS. He stoked the flames of sedition during the attack, refused to call it off for hours and when he finally did, he thanked the insurrectionists for their loyalty and said he loved them.

It was all pre-planned and organized far in advance. There were caches of ammunition and bombs located later in a search.
