"Election interference" or "sedition"?

Which seems nearest the real crime that was committed?

I may be biased but it seems closer to sedition to me.

It was more than "election interference". About 20 years more?

The terminology sticks in my craw the same way as does the wild keening by the maggots about "election cheating," i.e., what only they have been engaged in for months now.

Robbery will now be called "property interference."

Murder will now be called "life interference."

Quick side bar: I long felt the "Russian meddling" was too soft for what that goddamned country's leaders did for the 2016 election.

**Those persons' actions were sedition and part of coup d'etat.

Per Black's Law Dictionary:

Sedition - communication or agreement which has as its objective the stirring up of treason or certain lesser commotions, or the defamation of the government. Sedition is advocating , or with knowledge of its contents knowingly publishing, selling or distributing any document which advocates, or with knowledge of its purpose, knowingly becoming a member of any organization which advocates the overthrow or reformation of the existing form of government of this state by violence or unlawful means.

Seditious conspiracy - it is a crime for two or more persons in any state or territory to conspire to overthrow or put down or destroy by force the Government of the United States.
