I was at the waterfront in St. Petersburg, FL (getting ready for the next hurricane!!), and spotted a big yacht with a Harris flag!!! For the last few years it has been boat parades of MAGA **sholes and a bunch of orange idiot flags. Not a single trumpet banner in sight - and this one was proudly displayed. I have my mail in ballot already. Hope we can turn Florida blue!

(6,525 posts)Maybe Milroe gets another two running plus two passing TDs today.
I never watch highlights after a game I get to watch live, but I have watched 'Flyin' Ryan's' catches over and over, as well as Zabien Brown's INT.

(6,525 posts)Based on what I'm seeing, the team that Vandy took to two overtimes is struggling badly today against the Aggies, who have their starting QB back healthy.

(11,222 posts)Although this year's Vandy team is light years ahead of where they've been in the past.

(7,541 posts)It is hard to believe. I am a UTK fan (BSN '78) and never a Bama fan. My sister went to Vandy, but she does not pay attention to football much.

(11,222 posts)...Bama just couldn't stop them. Color me shocked.

(3,603 posts)college football history. Vandys QB, Diego Pavia, is a magician with the ball and tough as nails. Vandy is New Mexico State East this year as their starting QB, tight end, and 2 of their assistant coaches were at NMSU last year.

(10,801 posts)1) Image has to be a .jpg or .png (maybe others, but these 2 I know work)
2) Right click the Image and from the drop down list, select "Open Image in New Tab"
3) In the New Tab, in the Browser Address, make sure that the address has .jpg or .png.
4) If it does, Select the IP Address and copy
5) In DU, place the link in the Reply Text section.
6) Select the Preview Button.
7) Verify that image appears the way you want.
8) if it doesn't, there maybe an issue with the IP Address copied.
Hope this helps.
Here is the link of the Image IP Address from the link you supplied.

(8,007 posts)Just yesterday a fresh report said Trump was now leading in all 7 battleground States and notionally Harris had a 1 point lead. That is very bad news if true and would point to not only Trump winning but winning in an electoral landslide. What you show and the massive amount of endorsements for Harris paint an entirely different picture. What is one to believe? What I want to believe is my eyes but this election makes me nervous.

That's usually the only kind of crap I see from them-- on the internet, at least.

(5,011 posts)and take THOSE with a barrel of salt!
Right-wingers are starting to release polls that are skewed, ("flood the zone!"
, hoping to skew the averages towards Trump and demoralize us. Don't let em worry you!
I think, with the combination of large numbers of new young voters registering to vote for Kamala, and women registering to vote for Kamala and abortion rights, that THIS is the year when the pollsters will be missing OUR voters, instead of 'hidden Trump voters' which I believe maxxed out in 2020. Add to that our superior ground GOTV operations including "in person" canvassing (which we did not do at all in 2020 because of covid)-- and Democrats are bound to be several percentage points ahead of the polls this year! (Newly registered voters are not considered "Likely Voters" by any pollsters).
Democrats have consistently performed better in elections by several points, in just about every election and special election since the Dobbs decision. I expect we will this time, too.

(13,538 posts)Back in 2016 a lot of people who backed trump were embarrassed to say it openly. NOW there are people who are scared to say openly that they're AGAINST trump. Even if they dont vote for Harris, if they dont vote for Trump its a win.
I've gotten a few messages from friends who tell me "I could never say this openly or I'd lose my business/family/etc". So far only ONE is saying they'll vote for Harris, but ALL of them are former trump votes.

(26,009 posts)of the polling techniques currently being used by various organizations and polling companies. It described how a reliable random sampling should be done and said that none of the public polls are doing it right. The conclusion was to disregard all if them as unreliable and tainted.
Internal campaign polling techniques used by the candidates for their own info might be better, but the publicly released ones have error rates as high as 6% or more.

(24,486 posts)as well as his constant lying. But defeating Trump will just be the start of a long battle for the soul of America and we should not be naive in believing that this will be a one and done with defeating Trump at the polls because this is going to be a long fight, a marathon, not a sprint. We need to do what must be done and not be soft about it which they take as weakness and not resolve.

(1,774 posts)That's old "social media". Sending money that could go to flags and banners and signs to the campaign is much better value.
Ads on every social media platform reach millions, a flag reaches far FAR fewer, and the same ones over and over again.
Just my 2 cents... Contribute whatever you can, don't buy a flag.
