And only one of our Representatives, Dan Bishop voted against. He's running for AG against my man Jeff Jackson and I hope Jeff wins by a landslide.
Our Senators know how much hurricanes cost a state.

The first one I saw (a couple of days ago) he wasn't on it, so this one I just skimmed. I'll have to check now to satisfy my own need to know, but I'm not completely surprised. I was actually more surprised (but pleased, sigh, but not anymore) he wasn't on the list I first saw. He's a nasty piece of work. Tillis has been more centrist. He's been speaking out against the liars about Helene and I appreciate that.
Neither of our Senators are up for reelection this year.

Not heard a word about it here in WNC. What do you expect from Sinclair ownership of media here.

he had a rare bout of doing the right thing? Or, is he still in the hospital recovering from an apparent stroke? We constituents haven't heard a peep from that motherfucker in weeks, as it is, let alone at a time when we really need to hear from him.

Tim Scott has been AWOL, as well. Afraid of getting called out over this funding, I'm guessing.

My town got socked. Lindsey Graham, to his credit, has been here, and elsewhere in the damaged parts of the state. Tim Scott has been nowhere to be seen or heard from. Scared of the blowback from his vote, apparently.

He did vote for the FEMA funding, after all. Not totally useless, unlike Scott. I haven't had a chance to read anything about Jack Smith's release, as we just got power back a few days ago, and I have a lot of catching up to do elsewhere. I didn't know Graham's name was in them, although I'm not surprised.

NOTE: I did not vote for her with reason!
