as long as he wants to stay in the Senate, I'll keep working for him.
I am sorry your Senators and Representatives are what and who they are. You should have better.

Can you give a quick summary of what he said?

Are Republican's actually talking about changing Medicare, Social Security?

When they talk about 'entitlements' I feel that hides the reality of it meaning Medicare changes...which Repubs want

but hope to blame PO and Democrats if it becomes a reality.

Entitlement is a smokescreen word that only the really intelligently politically active understand.

Democrats must call it change to Medicare etc so everyone understands ... Not use 'entitlement' which hides the reality of it meaning Medicare etc.

to agree that it was necessary to make medicare eligibility older, that SS and Medicare caused the financial problems. He pointed out that physical labor was hard and the ones at the table had it easier. The head workers could retire later, but many many Americans couldn't physically wait. (ahem...kinda like me). Barnicle tried to bring up Demint, and Senator Brown shot him down quickly. It seemed only a 3/4 minute segment. Scarbourough was off screen. Very short segment for a Senator

destroy the RW talking points (they are easily destroyed).

I think Joe was in a snit and sat it out. Acting like a two year old, AGAIN...

Barnicle looked like a fool. That Senator Demint remark was just ridiculous. It looked like he was trying desperately to "change the subject" and get off the eligibility issue, where they have probably been told not to go by Scar. I wish someone who goes on that show would break their silence about how Scar runs the place...
