...because I don't quite get this first toon. I feel like it's missing a caption even if it's obvious to other people. I get the impression of Santa getting a lay off notice or something like that, but if there's a more obvious joke, it's flying right over my head.

And I still don't see it, it isn't showing up on my screen anywhere.

Update: Weird. I change to a different web browser, and the missing caption showed up. I'm using a browser I know is pretty sucky -- Safari on Windows -- just to keep my personal browsing at work separate from my work-related browsing.

I didn't realize how much I might be missing this way. That's a huge bug!

...the text you were probably able to see that constituted the joke didn't show up until I looked at the same picture with a different web browser. When I said, " I feel like it's missing a caption", I meant that I saw NO CAPTION AT ALL, not that I saw the same text you were seeing and thought that there needed to be even more.

Even more baffling since the originally posted image is a .jpg image, not even a .png where I could understand that perhaps some weird alpha channel/transparency issue came into play. Part of a .jpg image going blank like this makes no sense to me.
