don't be surprised when Nature fights back.
Humans are warming this planet into a nightmare scenario where we will struggle to recover from.
Boiling a water-based planet is a recipe for more super-storms.
Sarcasm...
It takes raw talent for a species to warm a fucking planet due to their pollution.
Great job humans! (The people that deny GW and science.)
Nature is responding.
Not some being. But by the scientific laws of the cosmos that created our universe. Nature has one flaw and weakness.
Chemical pollution.
Our pollution has given nature a cancer similar to cigs giving a human lung cancer. Nature doesn't have an answer for pollution so what does it do? Global warming. Heat a watery planet up and watch the super-storms destroy.
Water vapor is storm-fuel. Heating a water-based planet is asking for more storms and heat.
These storms will continue to get worse. More common, deadly, destructive, costly.
Humans are the only known species to warm a planet in the history of the cosmos.

(8,088 posts)When I was about 10 years old, watching the evening news, I came to the conclusion that until we repeal the excuse of 'human nature' for all the ills we accept, we will go extinct. At 71, I am even more convinced. Odd thing about me is, I am basically an optimist. But I can see, learn, connect the dots, and all the optimism I have cannot deny what is there to be easily seen.
Perhaps we are species evolving, some moving on toward a better sort of human. But if we don't do it fast, if the evolved don't soundly outnumber and overwhelm those fighting becoming a better species, and overcoming our worst inclinations in favor of the greater good, it's game over.
