Took my daughter to vote for the first time. 😁🇺🇸
Regular scanned ballot at the county offices.
One of the registrar noticed and asked if it was her first vote. She smiled and said Yes. “We have a first time voter!” and all of the staff there clapped. The lady inside the room where you fill in the dot congratulated her too.
We stopped at the Dem table outside. I offered to pay something for their lunch. They declined but asked if it was my daughter’s first vote. They applauded too.
There was a problem with her registration so she went to the registrar in the City of Richmond and registered to vote in Henrico County. I didn’t know you could do that. It worked. She is in the voter rolls.
