While "McCarthyism" isn't new to the Republicans, these few cartoons and paragraphs show exactly how Republicans planned and how they then started to manage BS to the average American.
And these were done when we had concernd press...believe it or not, most of this is from...

I would have thought even today's press would have qualms about kissing dirty diapers.
