but each is unique.
Rangers are much like WW2 commandos, units of up to battalion size raiding or capturing behind enemy lines, sabotage etc.
Green Berets tend more to infiltrate local populations, establish and train indigenous resistance.
The SEALS are used in small teams against very specific targets for recon, destruction, capture/rescue or 'neutralization'
