Contingency plans are probably in place if the scenario occurs that VP Harris captures the White House but the Senate flips. I suspect one such plan is for President Biden, the moment VP Harris becomes President-elect, to ask Milquetoast to resign and then nominates someone like Sally Yates as AG. Leader Schumer, to the howls of the fucking cult, then says, "Fuck your filibuster;" grants Yates an expedited hearing; and then the nomination comes out of committee and sent to the full Senate where Yates will be confirmed.
Yates as a confirmed AG then carries over to the Harris administration.
