It's scarier to me that Vance waits in the wings while TSF deteriorates before our eyes.

Vance is an overly ambitious political newbie bought and controlled by the 1%.

If Trump’s too old to run Vance has too much time in front of him to fuck America up. We don’t need to suffer through his onboarding.

It is as though they know nothing about Peter Theil, his ambitions and motivations, or those of all his tech buddies, who pushed Vance to the VP role to begin with.

2. Why? There is virtually no chance he'll be top of the ticket

Unless Trump strokes out or dies before election day, he's remaining on the ticket. Why would he give up now when he's just weeks away? Any of this 25th Amendment talk is completely unfeasible and not worth worrying about.

If Trump wins Vance might eventually become President if the Big Macs finally win their race with Donald's ticker, but he will never, ever, ever willingly step aside.

3. Trump doesn't have to step aside he can be set aside by the 25th Amendment.

And the mainstream media is beginning to pipe up.

The Mighty Wurlitzer is now covering Trump’s mental instability and fitness setting the stage for a possible final performance 🤡 🎭 .

4. The bar to use the 25th is extremely high

Unless Trump were incapacitated the only way it would be smooth sailing for JD were if Trump volunteered to step aside. Do you think that sounds like Trump? If Trump fought it, JD would have to get 60% of the House and more than a majority of Trump's hand-picked Cabinet members to agree. Do you think Peter Thiel has the kind of clout with the GOP reps and Cabinet members, who would then themselves be in the crosshairs of Donald's deplorables, to get him forcefully ousted? So unlikely IMO that it's next to impossible. Trump would never just give up, but if it makes you feel better (or worse in this case) then I can't stop you from believing in the conspiracy.

5. At the rate Trump is decompensating, he could be non compos mentis not long after inauguration.

And if there is a Theil (and his ilk)---backed conspiracy to get their puppet, Vance into the Oval Office, do you really think they will not have plans to ensure nominated/confirmed or acting cabinet members sympathetic to the "cause" be in place to pass the 25th with little delay once they are able to do so?

For those who have never seen advanced Alzheimers or other progressive neurological dysfunction in its last stages, it can be quite jarring--especially in someone seen infrequently enough in person. One day, seemingly "with it' (especially if timed right among those who decompensate with "sundown" and seemingly days later totally "gone." Seeing this in Trump will unnerve even the reluctant. And... few will see that Cheshire cat look on JD's face as he smirks in glee.

7. I don't think Theil and ilk have the clout to pull it off, no

There's little to no chance a 25th Amendment removal of Trump ever happens IMO.

I will admit that were he to win, (which I don't believe will happen,) I could see him dying or stroking out in office, though. And IMO that's the ONLY way JD Vance would ever become president. And I guess that's plenty frightening enough.

Working.

So I guess we agree on that point. But if Trump has any of his faculties and is conscious enough to Tweet to his deplorables, he wouldn't be going anywhere, and nothing JD or Thiel could do about it.
