A woman. A black woman, at that. In his twisted mind, such a thing is impossible. He cannot lose, he thinks.
And yet, he is, indeed, losing. As that is becoming clear to him, he is withdrawing into his little shell, while raging in his "fertile mind."
His mind is fertile, only because it is full of bovine excrement.
He is losing to a woman. A black woman.
The truth....it burns!

(57,933 posts)It brings to mind MLK Jr's quote: Let us realize the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice.
And what better justice than the orange, turd, convict loses to VP Harris, then to SC Smith's J6 charges.

If he did flee - that we never, ever hear his voice ever again!!!
A new thought instead of house arrest, No Golf, and if possible a cellphone that only connects to his family, his lawyers, and a Very Few ?whom else - which I always thought to be in Merdo-Largo; instead make it in Bedminster, NJ -
Why?
bc Winter, baby, winter(!): NO warm, beautiful ocean, NO outside flowers in wintertime, and NO soul soothing Palm Trees, either, Bub!
And NO Golf here, either!

(10,047 posts)see him under house arrest with no "Depends".............In the House of Colorado's SuperMax.........
As McVeigh stated, after six months in SuperMax, it is far worse than death, please give me the death sentence.....
It is far worse than even normal Solitary Confinement..........
For what Trump, His Spawn, Jared, Republican Senators and House Members have done to this nation they should all be in Supermax.
And build another one next door for every Trump Advisor and cabinet members.....
They have proven, beyond any reasonable doubt, that they ALL are totally un-fit for human society, exactly like ALL the others incarcerated in SuperMax..........

(147,837 posts)often isn't aware of what's wrong. I've seen that in elder relatives who have had dementia.
They often don't understand what is going on with them very well at all. Often, especially in the early stages, they think they are fine, and will argue against their problems.

His daughter, who didn't live with us, disagreed with the gerontologist and supported her father in renewing his license. The same daughter became his in-house attorney when he visited her during the pandemic and, while there, filed for divorce after our having been together for thirty years, something I certainly did not expect.

(22,967 posts)His life of losing has already begun with his losses to E. Jean Carroll and New York State. When he loses the election then the January 6th trial, he'll be well on his way to oblivion.
I look forward to his rantings and ravings as he is finally held to account and shown to be the epic loser he's always been.

(16,553 posts)I see criminal convictions in his future. And so does he and his family. So, what happens? Many of us have seriously pondered this question. If Joe Biden wasn't President, I think there would be a chance the government would look the other way and let him escape to Venezuela or Saudi Arabia. But I don't see Joe allowing that.
That means incarceration in prison or he's declared incompetent and committed to psychiatric unit somewhere. I think he is destined for commitment.

(155,064 posts)Donald Trump initially said Kamala Harris shouldn't be allowed to run against him. Now he wants her forced off the campaign trail.

In a Thursday post on his Truth Social platform, former President Donald Trump argued that Vice President Kamala Harris should be investigated and forced off the Campaign, thereby allowing President Joe Biden to take back his rightful place at the top of the Democratic ticket. Trump did not specify what he believes Harris who became the Republicans rival in the White House race after Biden dropped his reelection bid this summer should be investigated for.
In recent weeks, as the GOP nominee has struggled to come up with a coherent closing message, hes fixated on a handful of preoccupations, including his desire to see Biden return to the ballot, his baseless 60 Minutes conspiracy theory and his insistence that Harris should stop running against him.
Remarkably, in a pair of odd online missives, Trump managed to tie all three threads together in one weird package.
The harangue began with this item, in which the Republican called for 60 Minutes to be IMMEDIATELY TAKEN OFF THE AIR, argued that CBS should LOSE ITS LICENSE to broadcast, said Harris should be investigated and forced off the Campaign, and concluded that Biden should allowed to take back his rightful place on the Democratic ticket.
Less than a minute later, Trump added strange new details to his 60 Minutes conspiracy theory he believes CBS News producers might have CREATED many additional new answers for her as part of the broadcast before wrapping things up with a veiled threat.

(7,530 posts)I think something else has happened too. Remember there for a few weeks he kept implicating himself in Jan 6? saying things that legal scholars said admissions of guilt, or consciousness of guilt.
I think he has quit talking about it, probably because of his lawyers getting all over him, but I think taking that out of his "weave" has almost disabled him from being able to talk at all.
It sure coincides.
I think he has been told he can't win and he will go on trial for Jan6 in Chutkhans court in DC.
