Jack Smith docs disclose $3 million spent to get people to the Jan. 6 rally

Wasn't there talk here of Ginni Thomas bussing people in to the rally? I wouldnt be surprised if he still pays people to go to his rallies...

New documents unsealed in Donald Trump's criminal Jan. 6 case disclosed $3 million spent to get people to the rally that preceded the attack on the Capitol building.
...
USA Today reported an unnamed organization spent $3 million to bring guests and protesters to D.C., and on ad buys to encourage people to make the trip. The actual costs of the event itself were under $400,000.
...
Among the recipients of the money was the conservative group TurningPointAction, which got $1 million, according to the papers. Donald Trump Jr's super PAC, "Save the Senate" got a $400,000 payment. The Tea Party Express got $400,000 and $200,000 was sent to a redacted name that was recruited "to assist with his organization efforts," the documents say.

There was also a $200,000 donation to the Republican Attorneys Generals (RAGA) Rule of Law Defense.

Meanwhile, "$300,000 was budgeted for speaker fees and travel for VIP speakers and a busing program to bring in rallygoers within a 180-mile radius."

A $100,000 payment was given to a redacted group to cover "the estimated cost of their hotels, private flights, car services and private security for about 10 to 15 of its members.

The owner of a tire and auto repair shop in Lottsburg VA rented a 42-passenger luxury coach to take people to/from the Jan 6 coup attempt.

I wonder if he got any of this money to pay for the bus?

One of the passengers was a retired deputy sheriff who is now a member of the County Board of Supervisors.

He really is slimy. He paid millions to stay out of jail because of a scam he was running @ his Flying J
Gas Stations and is now going to move the Browns out of Cleveland to Brook Park, Ohio so as to
get a new doomed stadium even though the one the Browns are playing in is relatively new and just
fine.

Big money revolution of tourists. The rabble was a tool, bought and paid for. It all ran through billionaires so we'll never know who fomented this escapade? Should someone ask Clarence?

Would that later lead to some kind of "conspiracy" charge in communications, if it's proven that DJT knew them and agreed to the "redacteds' " "donations" (presumably under campaign law)?

If this could hit at the dark money crowd, we're in for extremely interesting news when this goes to trial.

Maybe the summer offering will include perp-walks on the runway.

It's good to be young* again. So filled with hope.

* Okay, that's probably too far, I admit, maybe even a bit giddy. But it's Saturday. That's a big day for the retired at my castle. Laundry day! Milk Street kitchen stuff, hours of PBS mysteries, then a blissful sleep of the just (provided the CPAP doesn't try to strangle me in the darkness).

You associate with right wing scum and sometimes those reports are technically inaccurate. What is undeniably true is that one of her partners-in-treason bragged about 80+ busses, so Ginni is guilty by association.

Allowing individuals (leaders) within a group of MAGAts to claim innocence while the group ransacks the Capitol doesn’t fly. The whole group committed an insurrection, each individual member also committed an insurrection. And though Thomas may have an alibi to “pulling the trigger” she’s still guilty as hell for her part inciting the crime.

She sits on the advisory council of Turning Point USA. And Turning Point USA promised 80 busses to attack the capital.

A distinction without a difference.

Her chubby little fingers were all over it.

Plausible deniability.

For us in the rabble, if the money didn't come out of our bank account we aren't responsible. So people try to apply the same standard to our oiligarchs. But our oiligarchs own companies and sit on boards. They can spend money which isn't even their own and escape personal responsibility for their actions.

Let the serious and unserious name calling begin. Who is it? I really don’t care if the guess is 100% accurate, just let somebody squirm and defend themself publicly.

As a bonus, maybe they’re only MAGAts and not the actual bus sugar daddy. Let Republicans sort it out themselves in a degrading and public feud. It all starts with an accusation….that’s the scam being run on Democrats all the time.

Let grifter MAGAts defend their slimy connections to the public, they owe us an explanation.
