but also lives in Albuquerque got a handwritten postcard today(Denver postmark). Hes so excited! As am I. We are not a swing state in this election which makes it even cooler. A wonderful Gotv effort. I believe he would vote although hes been a bit sporadic since he turned 18. But now I know he will. Its like a nudge a personal nudge. Someone writing out a postcard and paying for a stamp.
Theses postcards matter! We sent 200 to AZ. Hopefully it will help in the GOTV effort there!
Thanks to all the DUers that participated in the postcard campaign! We have Done Something!

(207 posts)My family and a group of like minded neighbors wrote 1,000 cards ( 500 - Yes on 4, FL abortion amendment & 500 FL votes).
That's wonderful, great job! I've sent letters in PA using Vote Forward. Their goal was for volunteers to "adopt" voters by sending letters. Their goal is 10 Million. So far they over 8 million. In PA all the 700,000 plus vulnerable voters were adopted with none remaining. I think the amount of work being done people like us is not to be underrated.

(47 posts)I've done post cards in the past, this year I did targeted letters (Vote Forward).
Was tickled last week when we received a post card from "Alex" reminding hubby and I to return our no excuses PA ballots. We really are on the ball with GOTV activities.
