Time for the swooning to begin. What a man. What a worker. How does he do it?
My hubby, who actually supported us during grad school as assistant manager at a fast food restaurant and a shift worker at another fast food franchise, said what is he trying to prove? Working the fry machine is one of the hardest jobs during a rush when everyone is screaming at you to produce a certain number and size of fry orders. Standing there in a pressed apron doing nothing is actually insulting to anyone who has actually done the job.
But, the knuckle draggers will love it. Even if they worked a fry machine themselves, they will be very impressed because their brains are "fried" by nine years of propaganda.

Too bad that with his resume, it's likely that McDonald's wouldn't hire him either.
Well Donnie, maybe you can pick some fruit and veg down in California.

(25,820 posts)including house cleaning and dishwashing, but I never worked in fast food. I respect all workers who do that kind of work because of my experiences, and what I heard from my hubby and friends who worked in fast food.

(25,820 posts)I have not really thought about that aspect of it. They closed their business to enable this fake stunt, the purpose of which was to smear Harris. So yeah, that's kind of the main story here. Welcome to DU, by the way.

(4,096 posts)I got thrown onto it at 15 at a Burger King. Learned real quick how to juggle with all of the high school seniors(cashiers who had done fries and moved on) telling me to get my shit together. Had a waffle scar on my forearm for years from a basket.
We got it done though.
