Musk's motivation to support Trump

I asked myself what Elon Musk's motivation is for his "all in" approach in his effort to elect Donald Trump? Then I remembered this article from a few months ago. I was wondering why a man who has a huge investment in Electronic Vehicles supports a guy who rails against them? Why a guy with huge government contracts, including Space X and Star link?

Musk is a sick human being who wants to punish his transgender child by being the driving force in electing a person as he is to punish her and the people who support her.

If Musk is successful, this story line is right out of a Batman or other movies that have worldwide sick villains. Trump and Musk are right out of central casting. Trump and Musk, they are bonded by hate. Hate that manifests itself in their own families, with their own flesh and blood.

Wilson said that, for as long as she could remember, Musk hasn’t been a supportive father. She said he was rarely present in her life, leaving her and her siblings to be cared for by their mother or by nannies even though Musk had joint custody, and she said Musk berated her when he was present.

Musk, 53, is among the wealthiest people in the world through his stakes in Tesla, where he’s CEO, and in SpaceX, which he founded. He has also become a significant political figure, having endorsed former President Donald Trump this month for another term in the White House. Musk has 12 children, including Wilson.

Musk threw a spotlight on Wilson on Monday by speaking about their relationship in a video interview with psychologist and conservative commentator Jordan Peterson streamed live on X, saying he didn’t support Wilson’s gender identity. “I lost my son, essentially,” Musk said. He used Wilson’s birth name, also known as a deadname for transgender people, and said she was “dead, killed by the woke mind virus.”

In recent years, Musk has taken a hard-right turn into conservative politics and has been waging a campaign against transgender people and policies designed to support them. This month, he said he was pulling his businesses out of California to protest a new state law that bars schools from requiring that trans kids be outed to their parents.

Power? Trump is offering him a seat at the table. Musk feels Democrats shut him out. Trump can manipulated and his ol pal Tieil thinks that Vance can be controlled.

2. Agree with OP. And Musk wants to be King. He sees Trump as a simpleton, easy to manipulate, who he can use as a puppet.

Musk wants to be the one pulling the strings. In addition, Musk wants zero regulation of hate speech on X. He wants Trump to go all in on EV government-funded infrastructure and EV tax incentives, and even though Trump has been against those things, he expects that to be delivered.

3. I don't think Musk cares about his business

I think Musk wants to punish his child. He wants her to feel responsible for being the catalyst that incentivized her father into being the driving force in electing Trump.

4. That psychology is just a piece of why. What Musk REALLY wants, and what Trump will actually give him,

is the power to control the levers of money of this government, regardless of political governance.


Up until now, it was Putin who Trump would turn over the levers of this government to. But Musk decided he should be the one, Musk himself will decide how much to allow Trump to allow Putin in.


It's simple. Trump, in office, would turn this government over to anyone richer than he. At first we thought only the Heritage/Koch oligarch network would get a shot.

But seriously, whoever's in office -- Trump or Shady Vance -- will have been bought by Musk, and will do his bidding.

The real relationship to worry about is Musk's ongoing relationship with Putin. No matter which party runs the country.

Ok, I know I’m stating the obvious but…

Musk has a unique set of services under his purview with SpaceX, Starlink, The Boring Company, Neuralink, and Tesla to perhaps a lesser degree, that all offer vast possibilities for surveillance and control. Up to now he has, fortunately, used them in seemingly altruistic ways, but one could only imagine how they could be used ultimately if he were so inclined.

And note that at the end of that third DU OP, it explains that Musk liked it when Putin lackey Medvedev speculated a couple of years ago on the US having a civil war and Musk being elected president of the rightwing states. It was immediately obvious when Musk took over Twitter that he loved his fan bois telling him he should be president. It's also possible that Putin has kompromat on Musk, but I'd guess that Musk is most interested in working with Russia and China, to any extent he does, for business reasons.

Musk mentioned in Pennsylvania the other day that it would take a constitutional amendment for him to be able to run for president. Safe bet he's done some daydreaming about that.

Trump is a Trojan horse for his backers to gain power, but the same is true of Vance. If Vance thinks the tech billionaires backing him wouldn't view him as disposable if he doesn't do what they want, he's kidding himself.

This battle is mostly about power and money.

So he was always a huge racist. He also has like 12 kids with multiple wives and GF and openly talks about impregnation women as if that's there only function so he is a good ole fashion misogynist.
