Trump Caused Traffic Jams for Asheville Residents

Trump visited North Carolina today and snarled traffic, causing delays for residents of Asheville who are recovering from Hurricane Helene. Residents were trying to get to work, supplies, and take steps to get back on their feet, but were thwarted by the Trump traffic jams. This is Trump driving on roads that had been cleared for his arrival.

Trump's arrived in eastern North Carolina for a photo op, where he received a McDonald's French fry certification pin that he didn't really earn. In social media posts, residents described how the Trump traffic jams impacted them

One Reddit user, WY228, reported that roads were "locked up" for "3 miles" in the "worst traffic" ever seen. The user added, "All for that dork to get stroked off by his cult followers at a photo op and repeat the same FEMA lies."


Another user, YippeKayYahMrFalcon, stated that it took him forever to just drive a half mile down the road. PawsomeFarms said Trump should "wait until things have settled" and a visit from a high profile people are "just distractions and [a] safety hazard."
