It should be effective to attack Trump in the Midwest directly on economy.
All republicans get labeled as "tax cuts for billionaires" which has some effectiveness. Republican rheteoric answers with "the rich give they jobs" and other specious claims. Ultimately the Republicans claim that giving the rich "trickles down" to workers creating jobs.
However, in this particular election Democrats have a perfect counter since the billionaires including Musk specifically want to replace human jobs with Robots so an ad can hit on this and ask what exactly will Trump do for you.

(18,213 posts)You see... if corporations are allowed to buy millions of robots, the population loses.
But imagine this.
Corporations are not ALLOWED to buy robots.
Every citizen is ALLOTTED one robot. Your robot goes off to work every day allowing YOU to spend your day how you wish.
Instead of a social security check... a robot brings home a guaranteed paycheck.

(28,836 posts)There are two small factories, one in Minnesota and one in Michigan. They're probably not big enough (or well known enough) for this to be an effective issue in the Midwest.
The factory here in Austin, TX, however, has 20,000 employees and counting, so this might be a more effective argument to use here. It's already received some media attention locally.
