WA-03: Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, Joe Kent make final campaign pitches ahead of election
The race for the Third Congressional District kicked into high gear this week, as both Democratic U.S. Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez and Republican challenger Joe Kent make their case to voters.
Gluesenkamp Perez kicked off the “Freedom To Fix $#*% RV Tour” on Monday, which includes 23 stops in the seven counties that encompass the district.
The tour will make several stops in the Lewis County area. Each day, the campaign will announce the location and times of the stop on Facebook.
On Monday, Gluesenkamp Perez hosted a meeting with the Vancouver Rotary Club and two “Pints with Perez” events. Her schedule Tuesday included a “Pints with Perez” event in Longview and a candidate forum at the Grays River Grange.
