This seems to coincide with the news that there are more big name endorsements planned over the next two weeks.

(20,973 posts)The time is now to step into the fray. She has MILLIONS of fans as well in this country who could be a deciding factor in this election!

(11,886 posts)I know she has no obligation to do more than she has.
But shes one of a few handful of people that could really make a difference in increasing voter turnout.

(10,259 posts)It would be good if she could make an appearance for Harris but it may be difficult logistically. I wouldn't assume anything.
ProudMNDemocrat
(20,973 posts)on the importance of VOTING in this election to her US fans.
She needs not make an appearance with Kamala Harris. THAT is what I meant about stepping into the fray. Swift has a lot of positive influence among her fans and their mothers via video and social media.

(1,196 posts)And she has had voter registration booths at her concerts. Extremely pleased with her efforts here.
Botany
(77,682 posts)And after she endorsed Harris she got hundreds of thousands of Swifties to register to vote
after Harris announced her candidacy. She is a major business with many people depending
on her for employment right now with her tour and that is pretty damn important.

MAGA heads would explode 🤯 if she and her NFL boyfriend did that.
I can dream, I guess. lol.

(81 posts)She is on tour. She got thousands of younger people to register, put her full support behind Kamala. She has done a lot.

(34,200 posts)Criticism of Ms. Swift is no way to win friends.
Maybe it went past so fast you might have missed it but she's already been in the fray.

(10,259 posts)I'm not convinced Harris can win Texas (it's still a longshot ) but this should help with voter enthusiasm overall and might just be enough to push Allred past or Cruz.
Funtatlaguy
(11,886 posts)Especially black and Hispanic males who are considered influencers endorse Harris.

(10,259 posts)But several Pittsburgh Steelers players who are in the Hall of Fame publicly endorsed Harris before their game Sunday. That definitely got a lot of attention in Pittsburgh.

(41 posts)The NFL is king in this country. Football stars endorsing her would have more impact than singers. Unfortunately, too many NFL players are scared to wade into politics for fear of alienating their fan base and losing money.
