Serious question about the billionaires/millionaires supporting donald.

Why? Aren't their portfolio's exploding right now? I know my itty bitty stuff is growing more than I ever thought possible. Theirs have to be doing utterly fantastic. So why donald? Surely the "taxes" thing can't be the only thing.

For some, that's really all it boils down to.

Some look at it like a game that they have to win. I think Musk's in that category, but he's quite certainly not the only one.

Some realize that obscene wealth is a little obscene and have some sense of a social conscience* and some don't.

Curiously, Musk is on that list, though I suspect he'll remove his name as circumstances warrant. He seems to be a very different person than he was in 2012. Or he might blow it all.

They honestly and wrongly believe that they should run the world and beyond because of their financial fucking success. That’s why the tech bros are trying to figure out how to become immortal through AI and robotics; it’s also why they are so fascinated by starting colonies on the Moon, Mars and Europa feeling that their wealth can overcome any environment that will out right try to kill them at a moment’s notice.

The Almighty is winding up his sense of humor rock to remind these temporary insects of their place.

Elon wants a regulatory world where he can launch rockets whenever he wants...

He could literally spend 3 million dollars a day, that's a billion dollars a year... for 250+ years.

It's about his rocket toys and his world vision and God complex...IMHO

The others... mostly one issue voters, Adelson is Israel

10. For right-wing ideologues, remaking society is the point. They'll lose money to do it. Power, control, playing God.
