Elon Musk super PAC skips daily $1M giveaway to registered voters after DOJ warning

Elon may be worried

https://www.rawstory.com/elon-musk-voter-giveaway/

A super PAC founded by billionaire Elon Musk, a Donald Trump supporter, declined to move forward with its daily $1 million giveaway to a registered voter Wednesday after receiving a warning from the Department of Justice.

Musk had promised that America PAC would give $1 million daily to a registered voter who signed the organization's petition in favor of the First and Second Amendments.

Earlier this week, the DOJ warned Musk that his PAC could be breaking the law by aiming to increase voter registrations with the daily giveaway. It is illegal to pay people to register to vote.

Multiple outlets reported that America PAC skipped the daily giveaway on Wednesday and Thursday.

UCLA law professor Rick Hasen said the scheme was "clearly illegal."

Can’t give water to someone in line to vote, but he can bribe ‘em with $1 million?

I don’t think so…..
