A Few Observations on Why I Am So Dang Optimistic About This Election

1. One thing the LA Times, and WaPo non-endorsements are showing people is exactly what it will look like to live under an authoritarian regime. Your money won't protect you. The media can't anger the gods. No one would have paid attention to the WaPo or LA Times endorsing Harris for more than an hour. Their non-endorsements have shaken up the narrative. The cowardice in the face of just the possibility of a TFG presidency is rattling to normal people.

2. I know several republicans. They were TFG voters in at least one election, a few in both. Fewer than half are voting for him this time, and are not just leaving a blank, but VOTING FOR HARRIS. Roe is the reason for most. All have or wanted families. So when I see the republican early voting numbers, I think we can not only smartly subtract 10% off the republican numbers and add them to Harris's numbers. A 20% swing.

3. The percentage of female voters overall is remaining high. Roe-vember is definitely a thing here. Female early voters are outnumbering male early voters by a full 10 freaking percent in NC https://election.lab.ufl.edu/early-vote/2024-early-voting/2024-general-election-early-vote-north-carolina/

Why are YOU optimistic?

as much as help the Senate and congressional races.

But they wouldn't be doing this either if they were not too confident with the usual setting states.

I am also cynically of the mind that Queen Bae chose the state, as she is a proud Texan

That's my projection. Optimistic? Maybe., but I have faith that the voters will ultimately destroy the polling industry's BS projections.
