James Carville predicted on CNN today that we are going to see good polling

for Harris this week-end. I guess that leaves tomorrow. Keeping my fingers crossed.

He also predicted that Harris will win. He sounded very confident.

This is when I start to put some trust in Allan Lichtman's models. There does seem to be something to the way the polls shift at the end in the direction Lichtman predicts. Let's hope it continues again this year!

W may have done more direct damage to America and the world overall than TSF but he wasn't usually a completely insufferable camera-hogging prick while he did it. At least that's how it seems to me now, in retrospect.

The way he mocked Al Gore - when Bush wasn't intellectually fit to wipe Al Gore's shoes - was insufferable. "Fuzzy math!" "If he invented the Internet, why do all the addresses start with Dubya?" and so on. I couldn't stand that nasally whine of his.

Still he was nowhere in magnitude close to TFG's level of sociopathy.

He'd just mumble and sneer out his evil bullshit, he didn't really go for the hard sell like TSF. Maybe you were with him, or maybe you could take a one-way ride to Gitmo, W didn't give a shit either way unless you were filthy rich and maybe bankrolling his corruption. He was just smart enough to know he needed his vile cabinet and their various stakeholders to make nearly all the decisions for him, and he did that evil shit to the best of his lazy-ass ability without lingering too much on stupid "weave" sideshows. He knew damn well he was lazy and mean, he didn't try too hard to hide it under some clownish veneer only to hurl childish insults at anyone who disagreed with his obvious stupidity. He didn't publicly delude himself into thinking he was God's special gift to women, or that he was too good for the job, and that alone sets him at least one notch above TSF on the presidential behavior tape. IMHO.

TSF lowering the bar into the Mariana Trench was the best thing ever to happen to W's stale legacy of willful ignorance and cruelty.

The numbers from the Marist poll appear to back that up. We need more data-points, but the numbers are not subtle.

He does not make predictions about polling. I'm guessing that he has seen some internal polls. With what General Kelley has said about Trump plus other people that worked in the White House backing him up It's starting to take a toll.

14. Harris ahead in the conservative Rasmussen poll for the first time

Maybe this is the first sign of the poll dam breaking:

Kamala Harris Leads Donald Trump in Conservative Poll for First Time

Vice President Kamala Harris edged ahead of former President Donald Trump for the first time in the conservative-leaning Rasmussen Reports daily presidential poll released Friday.

With 11 days until Election Day, the race between Trump and Harris remains extremely tight, with the outcome largely depending on key battleground states.

A new national Rasmussen Reports survey of 2,745 likely voters finds Harris leading Trump by 1 percentage point (48 to 47 percent), which is within the poll's margin of error of plus or minus 2 percentage points. Meanwhile, 2 percent of respondents said they would vote for another candidate and 3 percent are undecided. The poll was conducted between October 21 and 24.

to the internal polling. It is different than what gets reported in the media. Although the votes might appear close in several states, I can say that VP Harris will win by a larger margin than any of the past three presidential elections.
