1992 is the very moment i left the Republican Party. I had only voted once before but I was a died in the wool conservative and after that fest I was out, went directly to Libertarians. I never liked Republicans views on social issues and after hearing that crap I was out. NEVER voted for a Republican ever again. Took me about 8 years or so to move into the Democratic fold from being a Libertarian.
