GOP voices frustration, disgust over TSF MSG rally

Republicans are expressing frustration about controversial remarks made at former President Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally, worrying it could complicate the party’s outreach to Hispanic, Latino and Black voters.

Comedian Tony Hinchcliffe, one of the featured guests at Trump’s New York City event, sparked a furor after referring to Puerto Rico as a “a floating island of garbage,” prompting some members of the GOP, like Rep. Anthony D’Esposito (R-N.Y.), who is Puerto Rican, to come out against the remarks...

Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.), whose successful 2018 election was won with the help of Puerto Rican voters, also said on X that the joke “bombed,” calling it “not funny...”

The incendiary remarks came just more than a week out from the election, and polling across the battleground states suggests a nail-biter of a presidential race. Pennsylvania, New York and Florida are some of the states home to large Puerto Rican communities, and some Republicans say the comments at the rally could impact the GOP presidential campaign and competitive congressional bids. - RW Rag The Hill

Boo-hoo! You said the quiet part out loud. You're all racists, seeking ethnic purity, just as the Nazis did almost a hundred years ago.

And it isn't just the Puerto Ricans they have to worry about either. That asshole rubbed lots of people the wrong way.

He pissed off so many minorities and women yesterday.

And gave the Harris/Walz campaign some sound bites for good anti repuke ads in the next 7 days.

This is the new face of the GOP.
And they dared bring that shit to New York City.
This rally was a deliberate message sent to Trump's base, showing them how arrogant and mean spirited they are, and what their base can expect if Trump wins.

The GOP has to be shitting us. They have been catering to these Kluxer-Nazis for decades as part of Tricky Dick's Southern Strategy.

This didn't 'complicate' anything. It spelled out EXACTLY how this party feels about Hispanic, Latino and Black voters.

Like that Proud Boys idiot Gavin somebody says: They don't want to make America GREAT again, they want to make America HATE again.
