I listen to progressive radio and MSNBC in my car via Tune-in. Unfortunately, Tune-in plays it's own ads during commercial breaks.
Through these ads, a company called Goldco has informed me through their esteemed spokesman that Joe Biden has rigged the government and is ready to seize your retirement assets, savings and hike your income tax to 75%. I was shaken by this news, but if you can't believe Mike Lindell, who can you believe?
Seriously, is there any alternative to Tune-in that works with android auto so I don't have to deal with that crap? I may end up springing for sirus xm....

(18,771 posts)Looks like TuneIn Pro would get rid of those pesky adds. For a one-time $9.99 fee looks like a great deal.

TuneIn Radio Pro is available for a one-time fee. It is just like our free app, without banner and other additional ads.
TuneIn Premium is a paid subscription service that we offer for both apps. With TuneIn Premium, listeners will get everything featured in the TuneIn standard free service, plus -
* 100K+ Unlimited ad-free audiobooks available for listening
* every NHL game, the biggest motorsports races, the biggest college football and basketball games (including the NCAA Tournament),
* 100+ commercial-free music stations, commercial-free news from top networks.
The TuneIn Premium service can be accessed by signing up or logging into a Premium account both on the TuneIn Radio Pro app, and our Free app.
